Strollercise

For the past three years, Jules has been the Program Director for theBoomerang Kids Strollercise Program. The program includes not only walking and running but a pilates-based core workout as well. Although the plan is structured with a dynamic  warm-up and proper warm-down, there is a flexibility that allows each member to pursue their own potential. Strollercise is available to everyone, regardless of his/her fitness level. Whether the participant is a serious athlete or is just looking for a new social activity, the Strollercise program can meet their needs. Strollercise operates Monday through Friday from 10:15 a.m.- 11:15 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays meet at 1056 Bank Street, Tuesdays and Thursdays meet at 261 Richmond Road.

Getting Fit in the Great Outdoors

Strollercise is a great way for both you and your baby to get fresh air and  exercise. Walking or running, there is bound to be someone to buddy up with.

On the Path

Jules will coach you along the run, and assist you with your exercise, whether it be by organizing intervals, correcting your form, or providing encouragement! Riding her bike alongside the group allows her to assist many moms and dads!

Parents of Multiples Welcome!

Although it is understood that having more than one baby per pregnancy can be hectic, strollercise provides a great opportunity to exercise with your little ones.

Year-Round Programming

The Strollercise program is in session all four seasons, even in the rain and snow. It is only cancelled when the wind chill is -26 Celsius or below or when the school buses are cancelled (usually in freezing rain or storm conditions). Check the Weather Network to verify the temperature if in doubt and check School Bus Monitor  to see if there are school bus cancellations. Other than in these two situations, Jules and other moms and dads will be happy to see you!
