Jules with her trainees“I first met Jules four months before my wedding when I signed up for her Functional Training Bootcamp class so I could get in shape for my big day.  I had so much fun that I didn’t  miss one class for those four months!  Jules made the stress of wedding planning melt away…literally! I worked out with Jules after both my kids were born. Jules is such a positive force that I left each class with a smile and some well worked muscles. I first met Jules at Strollercise. I was attracted to her warmth immediately. I had a six month old baby boy and a toddler when we initially met. I was suffering from a condition called Menieres disease, which impacts your balance. Some of the symptoms that I experiences daily were dizziness and debilitating vertigo. I was on a mission to feel healthy and experience wellness. The first thing that I needed to change was my eating and exercise habits. So it was a perfect match meeting Jules. Jules was extremely sensitive and compassionate. She developed a specialised exercise program geared specially for my specific needs. Jules is extremely motivating and well versed in the area of personal fitness. She is positive, dynamic and most importantly caring. Thank you Jules for being such an excellent teacher. Lisa

After my son’s birth in 2007, I was looking for a way to become fit again and get out and meet some other moms in the area. At a trip to Boomerang one day, I saw a flyer for their free strollercise and Jules came into our lives. After that, we quickly joined her at her “have a ball” classes at Starr Gymnastics. I was so excited to rejoin her classes once my daughter was born in the late winter of 2010, and I even added in bootcamp classes at the Arboretum that summer.

Jules has a wonderful way of making all participants in any of her classes feel welcomed by giving everyone a bit of attention. She has a great knack at motivating you to do that “little bit more” than you had in you and makes sure to do so every time you see her.
Her classes are as challenging as you decide to make them, and she is great at providing exercises for everyone from a beginner to someone who has been exercising for a long time.
I highly recommend her classes to all my mommy friends; there is no better trainer out there! Jossee

The hills are a little steeper, the drills are a little harder… and my butt looked WAY better in a bathing suit because of it. ;-) Jules, your outdoor Arboretum ‘experience’ (so much more than a class!) was the best mommy/baby workout ever. After trying several disappointing “mom & baby” fitness classes that failed to give me the work-out I was looking for – I found Jules!!! She has the unique ability to motivate, challenge and inspire each woman individually, regardless of her fitness level or goals. Whether I am running intervals at Strollercise, attempting some seemingly impossible move at ball class, or enduring the sheer brutality of mom and baby boot camp, Jules always pushes me to work harder than I thought I could. She continually introduces new exercises and different conditioning methods, which means that every work-out with Jules is fresh and fun! Although I didn’t think it was possible, she has helped me reclaim my six-pack after having twins – and have fun doing it – Thanks Jules!!
